A child is obsessed with my nine year old?

A girl named Abby in my daughters fourth grade class is literally obsessed with her. She always wants to play with her at recess and lunch and be her partner in class activities. Whatever outfit my daughter wears one day Abby will try to wear something similar the next! My daughter recently got a new backpack and a few days later Abby had the same one. My daughter said that yesterday they were having a class discussion about their favorite things and my daughter said her favorite brands are Roxy and Volcom. Then Abby put up her hand and said her favorite brands are Roxy and Volcom as well! I know that school is ending soon so I am not sure what to do. Is this normal. What would you do.
