Should I call off the wedding?

I have been in a relationship for over 4 years and I have a 13 yr old daughter from a previous marriage. I am engaged to a semi-wonderful man with a major flaw, he cannot connect with my daughter. She is very open to them having a great relationship but he is so not there. Her sub par biological father is in another state and he is a slacker. My fiance is the total opposite including he has no kids and cant relate to kids. My daughter is a sweetie pie and has never been in trouble in school and no trouble at home. He only picks out her negatives and never gives her any praise. (His mom is meaner than a rattlesnake and he was raised that kids should be seen and not heard) He has given us more stability than we've ever had but I am torn. If it were just me (but its not) I would be the happiest woman ever but I don't know if I can have her stay here and be miserable.
