Where is the best place to find a rattlesnake den?

I am looking for a timber rattlesnake in Alabama. I know that they are everywhere in my area because I see dead ones on the road all the time, but I want to find a live one so I can catch it. I have the proper equipment such as snake tongs, snake hook, and a snake bag. I bought all of my equipment from midwesttongs.com. They sell all kinds of reptile catching stuff. I have a huge cage to keep it in. And please don't be a smartass. I am looking for real answers and not smartass comments. The snake is for my reptile collection. I currently have three geckos, a beardie, a ball python, two yellow belly slider turtles, an american toad, and two fence lizards in my collection.
