Remington 1911 R1 V.S. Springfield 1911GI?

Springfield for sure. I am a gunsmith and have been doing it for over 30 years. The Springfield has tighter tolerances for a smoother more accurate slide to frame. If you do buy one see if on the trigger guard there is a NM if so you have what I think is the best pistol period
