any personal experience? the dogs found a big one about 20ft from camp and they scared it off..last night just after sunset i lit a fire in time to see another one...maybe the same one...coiled up and ready to strike just a few feet from me right where the puppy usually naps. i threw some rocks at it and it left. are they territorial? do you think it will come back? do i have to kill it so that it doent end up killing one of the dogs? anything i can to do to keep it from coming around? thanks

DUI and the reserves?

I just joined the reserves after completing my obligation of active duty. I am under no obligation in the reserves and can drop back to the IRR if I choose to. Long story short, went out to celebrate (like an idiot) joining the unit and got a DUI. White rattlesnake chasing me in a dream?

Last night I had a dream that there was a huge white rattlesnake in my yard. I remember being really excited because I think snakes are really cool, so I went over and picked it up. At first it didn't do anything really, it was just slithering around in my hands. Then I realized it was a rattlesnake, and I started to get afraid, and that's when it got aggressive. I threw it on the ground and backed up quickly, and it started following me. At this point I started to get really afraid and called for help. In my hasty attempt to get away, I backed up and tripped, and was trying to crawl away from the snake as fast as I could. It lunged at me once but I moved my face quickly. Then it lunged at me again and bit my hand twice. I remember feeling like my hand was tingling and it started to swell. At this point, my dad came outside and I kept asking him for help but he wouldn't do anything. He didn't seem worried at all even though I was just bitten by a poisonous snake. I kept running away from it for a while, just running in circles pretty much, and every so often I'd try to kick it or hit it with something, but for some reason I would just feel really weak or I'd miss by a long shot. I felt like there was no way I could escape it. Eventually, I ran into the house to hide, but the snake kept crawling under the door through a crack. I kept blocking it but somehow it kept getting through. I don't really remember what else happened from here; I assume I must have woken up not too long afterward. For some reason though it's been really bothering me, and if anyone has any idea what it could mean I would be really grateful. Thank you!!!

You could also take a small axe but only use it when the cat is charging you. Just don't miss. Swing fast, hard and use short strokes. As many as possible till it runs off. Maybe a cattle prod. I'm sure the cat wouldn't know what hit it with a prod but being so close...well maybe that's not such a good idea...lol. You'd probably only get one chance but it's better than not having it. Another possible solution...change where you run, go to a safer area if possible. As far as snakes go leave them alone and they will leave you alone. a 3 or 4' forked stick to pin them down with worked wonders when I was a kid and hunting snakes. If you pin it down behind the head you can pick it up (as long as you get a hold of it right behind the head) then toss the sucker a good distance away from you.

Brushy fields are good hunting areas, especially around farms. A good way to find large snakes is to cruise back roads just after dark, when the roads are still holding the heat; quite a few snakes like to come out and bask on the roads then, which is why they often end up as roadkill. That isn't seen much around where I live any more (fewer snakes), but maybe up in Michigan you can still find some. Rockpiles, boards and hollow logs or stacks of logs are all good places to look. the snake was light green/brown. all one color. Birthday ideas for my hamster?

Yeah I understand it sounds stupid, but my first hamster just turned 1 year old (approximately) and since hamsters don't have as many birthdays as other pets, I want to celebrate it. I was thinking about getting her a cool new toy and making a mini cake for her. I'm not sure out of what though. Im really into creative things so I was thinking about having a cute little party for her. Not where I invite people, but give her some time out of her cage and a few added treats and what not. I was just thinking maybe some of you guys had a few ideas.

What causes my leg-shaking episodes during sex?

My boyfriend and I have had sex regularly since we started dating 6 months ago. Starting about a month ago, I started experiencing a strange personal phenomenon in which my legs began to shake like rattlesnakes. alright so, i took a girl i like and her friend to a concert over the weekend. The girl's friend, Abby, was like all over me the whole time (we used to have a thing). I am a 4'11 Indian girl with black hair and medium dark skin. I am the shortest one in my family and I hate it. What can I do to look tall? I am taller than my mom and my dad is around 5'5. I am 15 and almost 16 in about 3 months. I know I stopped growing because I haven't grew at all since 7th grade. I never ate good in my life and I felt like I never had a growth spurt. I feel ashamed to go out in public or to a Indian party. I don't even want to celebrate my 16th birthday because I am so short. I make all high A's in school and I have no problem with my studies. My cousin is better than me at everything and I am really hating her. When we were little, we used to love each other and we used to play all the time. She is better at me in playing the violin, she is a level higher than me in Kumon, she sings really well and the singing teacher loves her, she does things really fast, she's filthy rich, everyone in my family loves her, she's my height, she's smarter than me, and she did all these competitions and won awards. We need your help! My husband and I (ages 23 & 24) are taking a long weekend and heading to Niagara Falls, Canada to celebrate our first anniversary in a couple of weeks. We got engaged by the falls in December 2008. We are looking to stay in a nice hotel, preferably 4-star. We are staying for two nights. We are having a really hard time deciding between hotels. We had originally planned on staying in a Fallsview hotel, but we have also recently heard good things about the Sterling Inn and Spa. We will be doing some sightseeing so it would be nice to be in a convenient location, but since this is an anniversary trip, we would like to have a nice room. I'm sorry to disappoint if I do, but I do belong to a certain denomintation. I am a Seventh-day Adventist. I do not wear a tzitzit. I do celebrabe Christmas...actually, it's me favorite holiday. I don't believe head covering should be always be worn, but I do think that if a woman is truly a Christian she should dress modestly, especially to respect herself. The Sabbath is on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday. If you want to look that up in the Bible, you can find it in Exodus 20:8-11. That is why I'm a Seventh-day Adventist. I have a question about my baby corn snake?

He is approximetly 10-12in long he was born in late 2010 and he is very very agressive. I fed him yesterday so he isn't hungry. He's never bit me. He's tried but failed. He rattles his tail like a rattlesnake would but I think that's kinda common for every snake. Every time I take the lid of the tank he rattles and curls into the "S" and I know that means he's gonna strike. If he were to bite me would it hurt? Is there something wrong? Is he supposed to be this agressive? Is there any way to make him more docile? I keep the tank at about 80 degreese F and I use paper towls as substrate. Any advice?

The rhythm, the guitar sounds, the handclaps, the similar title. The fact that Oasis also have a song called "Songbird" leads me to believe that they ripped the Mac on this one.
